No Win No Fee Claim
The vast majority of the claims we handle are on a no win no fee agreement, meaning that you won’t need to pay anything upfront and will only be required to pay your legal fees if the claim has been successful. We normally take out an After The Event (ATE) insurance policy on your behalf when we make a no win no fee claim. If your claim is unsuccessful, this insurance policy covers you completely. It also means you can file a claim for compensation without having to pay anything up front.
A No Win No Fee claim could be arranged as Conditional Fee Agreement, Contingency Fee Agreement or Damages Based Agreement.
We will only advise you to start a compensation claim if you have a reasonable chance of securing compensation. We will always ensure that you have the full facts from the first conversation you have with us, including advice on expected legal fees.
If for any reason your claim is unsuccessful, SSB Law will not charge you for its work on your case.
